Nice.

I haven't seen this one done before, so you win for originality. That's a great looking, red B, slightly off center as promised. You even added audio as a bonus... and it's even got slightly violent undertones to it, so you get points for violence, too.

Nice job. I expected nothing less, though. Happy Clock Day.

Okay first try...

Not a bad effort, although I think you definitely could make this longer and add some more story line to it. It doesn't really make much sense as it is.

Suggestions:

Your flash needs a preloader. On the Newgrounds Flash Portal page, there's a link right below the "Submit" button that says, "GET NG LOADERS N' STUFF!" Click that link to download a .FLA with a preloader in it. Copy and paste the first frame of that into your animation, and you'll have a preloader, complete with a start button.

Your flash loops endlessly. You can add an actionscript stop(); code to the final frame of your flash to stop it from going on forever, or, better yet, add a replay button at the end. If you're unsure of how to do this, check the Newgrounds flash tutorials for help.

Your animation was extremely choppy. Consider using motion tweens and increasing your frame rate to make the animation smoother.

The graphics in this movie were poorly done. Consider spending some more time on making your artwork look realistic -- or at least recognizable.

Hope that helps. Good luck with your next flash!

It's a start...

Your file size was really large, most likely because you did not compress your sound. To learn how to optimize your audio, click the "LEARN FLASH" link below the "submit" button on the portal page, then click "audio optimization" -- it's near the top of the tutorials section.

Your audio should end at the end of your flash instead of continuing on forever. If you set your audio to "stream" and end the audio at the end of your flash, your file size will also be smaller. Your sound loops on top of itself now, which is really not good.

There was very little actual animation in this flash; it basically amounted to a slide show. Consider learning how to tween -- or, if you already know how, consider using tweens more.

This flash had no background, so the action took place in a vast void of nothingness. Think about adding backgrounds to your next flash.

Your flash didn't really tell a story or demonstrate any kind of meaning or purpose. While "random" can be good if done well, you might consider adding some kind of a plot or story line to your next flash.

Hope that helps. Good luck with your next flash!

It's been done.

There was no animation whatsoever in this flash. Consider learning to animate to make your movies more interesting.

Yeah thanks i just made this thing in about 10min for clock day. If it makes it through the portal im going to put the preloader on and optimize it. Thanks.

Nice job.

Well done, and it made me smile. I watched it twice so I could see all the clocks you made. Yes, it's primarily just a bunch of Googled pictures, but the timing is right on and the thought is there, and it's a neat way to celebrate Clock Day.

Five and ten for you.

I LOL'd.

Funny, random flash. I liked the animation, and the story line was quite amusing. Nice work from both of you, especially since this was a side project.

5d.

Nice job!

Good work on this! I liked the style and graphics a lot. The ending was interesting... not the typical NG fare. I like that track you used from GNR; always thought that'd be good background music for a flash.

One suggestion: I would've appreciated the option to just leave the quality set to high. I set it back to high for the auto-mediumed parts, and my computer didn't lag at all. It was a little distracting to see the quality changes in the corner... if you're going to do it automatically, it might be best to do it quietly and not take away from your flash presentation in the process.

But, otherwise, this was great work, and I'm looking forward to seeing what's next from you! Happy Clock Day!

Thanks for the very helpful review.

Happy Clock Day, the best of 'em all! :)

Beautiful!

BBQ, you never cease to amaze me with your dedication to creating stunning, epic flash movies. This was no exception. Beautiful graphic art, amazing, moving lines, and incredible special effects. I'm astounded.

10/10, and fived, of course. Happy Clock Day.

Bbqbeefburgerman responds:

Yup.

Happy clockday to you too.

Behold!

Behold the mighty power of B!

Nice flash. Quick and funny and, of course, a splendid (and appropriate) plot for Clock Day. Glad you submitted it!

Happy Clock Day!

kinggila responds:

Happy Clock Day to you.

I'M SO FUCKING EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow.

You know... you make awesome flash sometimes, when you want to.

I really liked this. All of the sections were really well done... the one with B and SBC and FB was especially beautiful, but all of them were quality. Nice art.

Seriously, the stuff you make when you're not flashing Pokemons and trying for TOTW is really good. I wish you'd do this more.

Happy Clock Day. 5'd.

WHAT.
