uhhhhh... not bad?

It's okay, although it has a very strong e-card feel to it -- which is made even worse by the endlessly repeating organ music loop. Since the flash is only 30 seconds long, it might've worked better to use a full music clip instead of the repeating loop.

But, aside from that, it's cute, kinda sweet, and well made, and it's a decent first submission, so I voted to protect it. Good luck with your next flash!

Ok thanks man! I will try to fit a better sound next time.

Great!

Ha, that was awesome! Great story line, great animation work, and beautiful art. The characters were simple but cute, and the sounds were well done. My only suggestion would be occasionally change out the sounds of the passing cars; they got a little annoying after a bit. Just one additional sound to alternate would be nice.

Otherwise, this was perfect. I loved the ending for it. I can't wait to see more episodes!

I really liked it!

This was a nice take on the stick climb! Nice action here, and I liked the way the sticks helped each other, and how they each had their own little powers and characteristics that they used to get to the top. The end was a little odd, but otherwise, I enjoyed this a lot.

The animation looked really good, too... nice and smooth. I hope to see more in this style from you in the future!

Interesting. And creepy.

Cool project! I like the art style here a lot, and the way the animations transitioned into each other was really unique. The colour scheme and the audio combined to create a really creepy feel for the whole thing... I liked it a lot.

My only suggestion would be to add a preloader and a replay button and update your file. I know you didn't originally make this for Newgrounds, but it'd make your presentation here that much more attractive.

Otherwise, great job.

Well, of course.

Badger destroyed those snakes and didn't even have to *move*. Awesome. Badger should be one of those air marshalls, keeping the skies safe for all of us. Or something.

Funny flash. I liked the zoom shots, and the perspective work was good, too. The ending brought a tear to my eye... that was just incredible.

Can't wait for your next epic film!

Very well done parody!

This was an excellently done parody! I don't hate LP or his work, but I laughed all the way through this. You obviously put some thought into this, and you definitely have some very valid points about the Toof series. The dialogue between the characters was hilarious, and the parody of the replies was *perfect*. The commentary screen could not possibly have been better... the music was great and with one screen, you managed to get your point across in a hilarious, stinging way.

This is exactly what I think a parody should be, and even if I was LP's biggest fan, I think I'd still appreciate this for what it is. Great job.

Good flash.

I liked the style of this movie a lot. The art was extremely well drawn! The animation, however, seemed a little choppy and uneven throughout. Look at the running sequence at the beginning, for example: the arms moved too slowly relative to the background (and speed of the running), and the arms kind of went wild at the end of that scene.

The slow-motion effect was okay, although I think it was a little *too* slow, but increasing the frame rate (not necessarily the speed of motion but the number of frames per action) would have made it come across a lot more smoothly. Also, the abrupt ending made me think the flash had just broken; a fade-out would have accomplished the same thing without leaving the viewer hanging quite so much. A preloader and a custom icon also would have been a nice touch.

Little details, I know, but they make a big difference.

This was a good effort, though, and I hope you two will make more, regardless of whether or not you win awards for this one. :)

thanks, we've put alot of effort into drawing the characters, it was very hard learning flash the hard way, i've now come across using movieclips now, and in the next sequal it will get better! :), I didn't know how much seconds per frame so that music and speed was very off, there is a reply button in the corner at the end of the animation but i should have made it more visible my bad, but thanks for the comment i appreciate it, even if i dont make it into the weekly, since i got some fans i will make the next sequal for sure :)

Interesting.

Honestly -- and I say this with the utmost respect for you and your work -- the person from the Star Syndicate had a point, and this response validates that point: you were able to throw this whole thing together in a matter of a couple of hours, before the original parody even fell off of the main portal page. That indicates that this style animation *is* simple and easy to reproduce.

The song was amusing, although I think you could have spent some more time on it and animated it a bit further. The accompanying animation was, ironically enough, little more than a few tweens and frame changes -- which, again, underscores the point of the parody to which you were responding.

The replies portion seemed a bit unnecessary, honestly. I do appreciate that you admit that your detractors have some valid points, but it seemed like you were more interested in cracking jokes and hi-5ing those who stuck up for you. We all like to see our names in lights, but that portion seemed a little pointless to me. I'd prefer to see you respond to your detrators -- and supporters -- by making incredible flash animations.

I can't say much about the commentary. It seemed a little pointless and short, which I suppose makes sense because the animation was short so you didn't have much to work with.

I'm not a hater; I've admired your work for a while, and I know you're capable of great things. I did enjoy this flash for what it was. But I think a better retaliation would be a solid demonstration of your abilities as an artist in your next Toof episode. Show all of us that you can, and will, do better.

Way too short.

This was a good start for a series, but this first episode was way too short. The movie didn't even get a chance to develop a plot line or really get moving. If the intent is to get viewers excited to see the next episode, it might be wise to build their interest a bit more before leaving off with, "To be continued."

Nice graphics and story line, though -- what there was of it. It was amusing and all, but the length ruined it for me. Sorry.

Heh, so true.

So funny and so true. I'm glad I finally gave up on Runescape... I spent so much of my time clicking and clicking, endlessly trying to get to the next stupid level just so I could click some more. The points you make in this movie are very much valid ones.

I do wish you'd work some more on the graphics for your next one. Also, consider making your own "next" button instead of just using the NG preloader one... your movie will look a lot more professional if you do your own art.

I hope you keep making these. Good luck!
