You are my hero.
Hey, I know you. You're the spatula guy, and maker of really catchy songs that stick in my head for weeks after just one listen. It's about time you came out with something new!
And what a "something" this was! Here's my breakdown of the review:
Graphics: The graphics here are superb. You've got a cool animation style that's definitely unique and entirely your own, and it worked great for this movie. The animation was smooth, the effects and transitions were perfect, and I honestly didn't see a single flaw until the very, very end -- and that was almost unnoticeable anyway (thin line of white on the right side right at the end). So, 10 for graphics.
Style: 10 also. Your animations all have incredible amounts of style, and this was no exception. Beautiful work. I recognised a couple of inside jokes in there, too, which just added to the fun. "Oh my god.... is that an *arm*?" Heh.
Sound: At the risk of sounding repetitive, 10. Everything was timed perfectly, the voice acting was right on (and well done), and the music was, of course, amazing. Good to see the singing dog back in action, too. :)
Violence: 10. Nothing says "violence" like beating a bum with a dismembered arm. Nothing says "violence" like *having* a dismembered arm, actually. Let alone the skull in the wall, the random punching and puking, and so on. Nice amounts of implied violence without being graphic. Perfect.
Interactivity: 7, but it's a movie, so interactivity is expected to be limited. You did have a play, replay and scene select, as well as a link to your DA. That's all that was necessary. I didn't check for Easter Eggs, though.
Humour: 10. Everything you touch becomes comedic genius, I swear. Your offbeat sense of humour is right up my alley.
Overall: 10. I've been a fan of yours since the spatulas, and this is exactly what I'd expect from you. Glad to see you're still around.
Now, go get working on your next movie! :)
(5/5, of course, and you were already in my favourite artists. Duh.)
