And three...

Moving down the line to episode three. A few changes here... the fist seemed a little less carefully drawn than the other icons, but it had a nice rough edge that kind of made it a little less generic and plain, so I didn't mind too much. Same great song, same great moveable sun, same great tank... but new subliminal message this time! Yay. I was hoping those would change. :)

Looking forward to watching the rest!

... and Tom says I typed this review too quickly, so I'll also point out that I miss seeing the lollipeople in these. I wish they were dancing around on the sidelines or something... that'd be a nice touch.

TheSoulMan responds:

Lol, that "it's been a short time since you wrote your last review" sucks.

level two!

Another great episode in the Sunshine Levels series! Loved the hand icon; you did a good job with the animation, and it looks like you either traced or drew it by hand, so that's nice. I still like dragging the sun around the screen, and the song is still amazing, and the tank is always great to see, so nothing different there. Same subliminal message as last time, though... I hope those will change through the series!

Great second episode. :)

TheSoulMan responds:

It was changed! :D

Heh, level one. :P

Ah, a walk down memory lane through the Sunshine levels. It's so funny to see the level one lollipop instead of the dancing lollipopish people... that's hilarious, and a great idea. The NG tank is always a welcome sight in any flash, as far as I'm concerned, so that was good to see. And the song... well, it's a classic, and I'll never grow tired of it. *laugh*

Same sunshine as always, same exciting click-and-drag action. I'll never grow tired of dragging that silly sunshine around, either. Nice first episode!

TheSoulMan responds:

Yipee!

Heh.

Strawberry may be the king of the portal, but you are definitely the king of awesome unfinished animations. First "Macarena", now this. Splendid animation, funny lines and great artwork for the clocks. I wish you still had the .FLA so you could finish this.

Fifened. Please tell me you back up your work now... hourly. :P

VirusClock responds:

Oh yes, I do indeed. :)

Glad you liked it <3

Nice job.

This started off a little slowly but it got interesting pretty quickly. Nice animation. The graphics on the close-ups got a little pixelated, but not so badly that I didn't enjoy the film. Didn't seem like there was too much of a story line for most of it, even considering it was Doom, but random carnage is always good, too. I liked the cut to the first-person view... that worked well. The music worked well with the movie, too. Nice ending. A little predictable, but still great.

Good job overall!

LilDwarf responds:

Lol thanks alot :)) It's pixelated because I lowered the Jpeg's quality down ALOT to lowere the size :P Thanks for the review ^__^

Great!

*laugh* I love the dialogue in this one. "That's not tragic. Tragic is a plane full of old people crashing into a school bus full of retarted children!" Hilarious.

The lip-syncing was right on, and the animation overall was awesome! The voice acting was perfect, too. Great bloopers at the end... nice addition.

Can't wait to see the next one. I've gotta go back and rewatch the first three now.

5/5. Great job.

iAmBaSsMaN107 responds:

Thanks Omgee. Were glad you think we improved so much from the first three, that's a goal of ours.

Nice job!

I really liked this a lot! Quite funny, and probably quite accurate, actually. Your graphics and animation were done really well; the old-style, black and white feel worked really well for this movie. The sound was great, too, although the voice was a little hard to hear over the music. That's really my only gripe, though. Nice work.

(I always read and appreciate responses to reviews.)

stickists responds:

Cheers. A level headed guy on Newgrounds? I thought that was unheard of. Thanks again.

A good start to a series.

I thought this was pretty well done. A little short, and a little lacking on the action and sounds, but not a bad effort regardless. Next time, consider adding some more motion to the graphics to make things a little more interesting.

You get a 5 for violence for lighting a kitty on fire, though. That was unique.

KraakenHex responds:

Haha, thanks. Yeah, I did this all in a space of about four hours, so I was really just rushing it together, to be honest. But thanks for the input.

Nice work.

I like the idea for this a lot, and I hope you keep working on it. The sprite animation was a little choppy on this one, and the constant clicking on the text got really annoying -- mostly because you kept moving the button around! If you leave the button in one spot, it'll help a lot.

Good work, though, and I'm looking forward to seeing the next episode!

Mechabloby responds:

Next time I'll keep it one spot. And I noticed I few things in the animation while watching it too. :S

Anyway, thanks for the review.

I'll miss these.

Great series. I really enjoyed seeing these over the past week, and it's sad that the series -- and, with it, the Crew -- is now over with. I'm glad you were able to finish it out, though; it would've been horrible to have this end after only seven like I feared would be the case.

Excellent final episode. The sun was so tiny! I'm glad you put the flag in there, though; at least we got to see a good shot of Sunshine one more time. And the, uh, floatypops? Nice work there, too. Not much gravity on Pluto, huh. *laugh*

Great flash. Can't wait to see what you'll do after this.

FattyWhale responds:

Yeah, it's really a shame all these noobs had to come in and make shitty episodes, that's what ended it, but it was fun while it lasted.

WHAT.
