Wow...

An epic tribute to the epic remake of the epic classic "Stagbeetle."

Truly, we are not worthy.

I demand a sequel or ten.

TheSoulMan responds:

K, why not. It's been a long time since I do barely nothing with flash =D

Nice jorb!

Wow, I love that song, and Aquabats are great, so fifen!

... just kidding, but seriously, this flash was quality. Your drawing style is cute, and the animation was solid, and it went very well with the song -- which I did like a lot, but you asked that reviews not talk about that GREAT AND WONDERFUL Aquabats song. Lots of little random humourous bits in there, too. I wish you'd submitted this on time... I think it would have done quite well on Valentine's Day, especially with such awesome music! ;)

Good job on this one, and it's definitely your best work that I've seen thus far. Keep it up.

xthesnarfx responds:

Thanks, and I would of sumbitted this on time if I didn't start this like a week before V-day.

POOR GREYCLOCK

This is a beautiful, touching tribute to a great Clock. Lovely, original music, and innovative slide-show graphics that are 100% original and have never been done before. This is truly an amazing film.

It's so terribly sad what happened. I only hope that he'll come back from the dead to send us the gift of his flash wisdom oh wai

oh wow

Sweet mother of Spam, that was the best flash I've seen in a month. Granted, watching it is like being hit by 389027185 trucks at once, but they're all trucks filled with great sound, witty and catchy lyrics, splendid drawings and beautifully excecuted animation. Blindingly excellent... it's stuff like this that makes Newgrounds worth visiting.

Congratulations on a phenomenal film.

5/5, 11/10.

Wonchop responds:

You'd end up as a pile of fine, but happy, red dust

g

pe to see more of this amazing type of stuff from you soo

CDClock responds:

Yep.

nice!

LMAO! That was hilarious!

Great art, as usual. It's nice to see what you're capable of in Flash... and I know your work will only get better! My only suggestions: preloader and replay button make a huge difference.

Good to see your familiar style, my friend. You're still my hero. Hope to see more soon!

(Tell the others I said hi. ;) )

aba1 responds:

lmfao kk i will nd this was highly rushed XD i have a preloader and i had a whole menu i loved n everything it was being gay and the movie took 10 min to export at the least ussually 20 so i said fuck it yup the preloader plays when it loads itself

Great effort.

I really respect those who still bother to work in traditional animation. This piece may have been a bit short, but it's an instant classic in my eyes. A perfect soundtrack, great artwork, smooth traditional animation, and a nice menu to top it all off. I'm glad you made this, and you've certainly got my 5 vote.

I'd like to see more of this in the future, and perhaps a bit longer of a piece. Nonetheless, I'm giving it a 10/10, because it's perfect for what it is.

Epic-ly epic!

I have never seen such graphics in my life. The plot held so much mystery that I was literally riveted to the screen the entire time. The scene at the end was heart stopping. And the dialogue... that, too, was filled with mystery and intrigue.

This epic flash is sure to be featured on the front page, and I'm proud to say I watched it while it was under judgement.

Also, Hemlok = <3.

Also, MetalDart = <3.

Also, Party Van = <3.

Also, OMG 10/10.

MetalDart responds:

MetalDart: If this gets hosted on the front page, I'll take a picture of my ass.

Hemlok: You are the coolest person in existance. Besides MetalDart of course.

That was amazing.

That was easily the best of the the Christmas movies I've seen submitted this year, while also being one of the saddest things I've ever watched. You made me cry like a schoolgirl with a skinned knee... seriously.

I could write a long review, break down each category, and tell you how you did in each one, but I don't need to, because I can sum the whole thing up in two words: "It's perfect."

Fifened, 10/10, faved, and plugged on my blog and elsewhere.

Eternal-Panda responds:

Hey thanks man, glad you enjoyed it.

Merry Christmas

Great job!

Wow, that's quite a long song! I was afraid you were going to cut it off before the end, but you pulled it all the way through! Most excellent.

The graphics are a bit simple, and could use a little bit of work, but you'll get better over time, and they were passable, so I didn't hold them against you too much. The lip syncing was remarkably close, and that's hard to do -- especially for a song of that length.

I'm seeing Stephen Lynch when he's in Seattle in a couple of months, so this is especially awesome to see. :)

So, 10/10, 5/5. Nice job. :)

Sonofgoku1 responds:

Thanks for the critical review. * I like critiques!*

The graphics were made about a year, ago, and I've gotten alot better and drawing them since then. The next one will be of Definite higher quality.

Oh! I got Stephen Lynch- live at el ray for x mas, so I'm so happy right now!

Happy holidays!
